The BFI Film Audience Network (FAN) is a National Lottery supported network of organisations working to build and develop audiences for British and International cinema. FAN draws together cinemas, festivals, film societies, mixed arts venues and creative film exhibitors from across the UK to broaden and enhance audiences to engage with and learn about film.

The Film Audience Network is currently led by eight Film Hubs, spread throughout United Kingdom. The Hubs bring together regional networks of cinemas, cross arts venues and those working in the exhibition sector. Their aim is to enhance the opportunities for people in their regions to engage with a rich and diverse film culture, through project funding, training support, sectoral advocacy, advice and informal consultation, audience research and local delivery of National projects, touring films seasons and sectoral initiatives. Beyond the Multiplex is partnered with two Film Hubs. Film Hub North led by the Showroom Workstation in Sheffield, HOME in Manchester and Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle and Film Hub South West led by Watershed in Bristol.

The Audience Agency is an independent not-for-profit consultancy working with cultural organisations to build audiences. They have national offices in London and Manchester, with a team of expert consultants across England and Wales. The Audience Agency hope to contribute to increasing the number and diversity of people engaging with a broad range of culture, and the depth and scope of their involvement.
